Kentucky Wesleyan set a program record with a 339 during the opening round of the Triton Bear Invitational at Gateway National Golf Club in Madison, Ill.

KWC is sixth in the 14-team field entering today's final round.

The Panthers were led by Erica Swisher's 81. Others scoring were Courtney Wallace (82), Rachel Ross (85) and Lauren Jill Tatum (90).

Southern Indiana (294) leads at the midway point.
