The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's cross country team finished second at the Georgetown College Invitational at the Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington on Saturday.

Former Owensboro Catholic standout Willie Polio was second overall in 27:52 for Centre.

Aaron Poore was sixth (28:33), Rob Gleason eighth (28:54), Chris Hirsbrunner ninth (28:59), Brent Mesplay 15th (30:15) and John Walker 17th (30:18) for KWC.

KWC's women were represented by Brittany McCarthy in 14th (24:54) and Morgan Whitney 18th (25:50).
