Mark Hagedorn recorded the Panthers only extra-base with a double. KWC mustered only four hits in 24 at bats.
Chaz Simpson (0-3) received the loss pitching five innings giving up two earned runs and striking out one.
Colton Slank and
Jake Robin also threw one inning each in relief.
The Panthers produced 10 hits and only one run as the Rail Splitters won 2-1 with only three hits in the second contest.
Jordan White posted a perfect three-for-three at the plate.
Michael Hellmueller and
Jon Wandling each had two hits.
Wandling hit an RBI single scoring Hellmueller in the fifth for KWC's only run.
Tyler Emberton pitched a no-hitter in 3.1 innings while giving up LMU's first run on a balk to record the loss.
Wes Ward followed in relief and allowed a single RBI on an Emberton walk. Emberton posted two strikeouts and Ward threw the final 3.2 innings with three.
KWC (13-17, 7-9 GLVC) plays at Lewis in Romeoville, Ill., on Saturday and Sunday for a four-game Great Lakes Valley Conference series.
