The Kentucky Wesleyan baseball team won a 21-11 slugfest against Lewis before falling 8-6 in the nightcap of a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Panther Park in Owensboro.
Both teams combined for 37 hits and 87 at-bats in the opener.
Jon Wandling went 4-for-6, drove in seven runs and scored four for the Panthers (14-18, 8-10).
Max Aubrey added four hits and three RBIs, Josh vance had three hits and four RBIs, while
Nathan Hedgepath finished with two hits and three RBIs.
Wandling also went 2-for-4 in the second game.
Jordan White smacked a three-run shot and Vance had two hits and drove in two runs.
