Lewis swept Kentucky Wesleyan 7-4 and 15-5 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action on Sunday afternoon at Panther Park.
 
In the first contest, Mark Hagedorn hit a two-run single scoring Jordan White and Randy Villa in the first. The Flyers came back to score one in the first.
 
Max Aubrey scored on an error in the second for a 2-1 lead. Dan Cannon hit a single RBI bringing Nathan Hedgepath home in the third for a 3-1 margin.
 
The Flyers forged ahead with three in the fourth, one in the fifth and two in the sixth for the final tally.  
 
Jordan White went 3-for-4 while Cannon and Villa added two hits each. Hedgepath and Villa earch posted doubles.
 
Tyler Emberton (2-2) received the loss allowing one hit and the go-ahead run in 1.1 innings pitched. Tim Steed started and went 3.1 innings with two strikeouts. Noah Boswell and Colton Slank closed for KWC.
 
In the nightcap, White and Dayton hit back-to-back doubles for a 2-0 advantage in the first. Lewis then scored two in the first and one in the second.
 
White recorded a RBI error to bring Villa home and Dayton hit a single RBI scoring White for KWC's third and fourth run in the third. The Flyers added one in the third for a 4-4 tie.
 
Lewis built their lead to 14-4 with five runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the sixth.
 
Jon Wandling hit a solo home run in the seventh. The Flyers added one in the seventh to end the game for the final count. The game was scheduled for nine innings but was halted due to the 10-run rule.
 
Johnny Dayton went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs and Jon Wandling both went 3-for-4 and drove a runs and scored two. Jordan White also posted two hits, two RBIs and two runs. Tyler Edge (3-3) took the loss.
 
The Panthers (14-20, 8-12 GLVC) play at Southern Indiana on Tuesday at 6 p.m. for a single game.
