Fifty Kentucky Wesleyan College student-athletes in 17 sports received their bachelor's degrees on Saturday, May 11, during the school's 145th annual Commencement. The 50 represents 30 percent of the 150-member 2013 graduating class.
Four student-athletes graduated Summa Cum Laude with a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 to a perfect 4.0.
They are
Lauren Goffinet (history education/basketball) from Tell City, Ind. [Tell City HS];
Joey Kramer (business administration/football) from Owensboro [Daviess County HS];
Bailey Wilson (communication arts/women's golf) from Sellersburg, Ind. [Silver Creek HS]; and
Matt Wilson (chemistry/football) from Columbus, Ind. [Columbus East HS].
