Dalton Oliver threw for 204 yards and a 76-yard touchdown pass to Travion Tucker in Kentucky Wesleyan's 52-12 season opening loss at Murray State on Thursday night. Oliver connected on 14 of 29 passes with no picks.
 
The Racers moved out to a 45-0 lead late in the third quarter before the Panthers responded with the 76-yard bomb with 19 seconds left in the third.
 
MSU scored their final TD with 6:57 in the fourth for a 52-6 advantage.
 
Fred Coleman's three-yard TD run with 1:48 remaining closed the contest scoring.  

Xavier Mitchell caught nine passes for 77 yards and Raheem Lindsey grabbed seven for 26 yards. Terrance Brooks and Keelan Cole had four.
 
David White rushed 17 times for 39 yards, Lindsey had six carries for 26 yards and Brooks ran six times for 17 yards.
 
The Panthers (0-1) had 352 yards in total offense including 257 passing and 95 rushing. The Racers (1-0) compiled 578 yards in total offense with 387 passing and 191 rushing.
 
Kentucky Wesleyan plays at Limestone (SC) next Saturday at 11 a.m. CT.
