Four Panthers named to 2016 All-Commonwealth team

Keelan Cole, Vasco Billberry, Lane McHatton and Reggie White were all named to the 2016 All-Commonwealth football team, as announced by the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Cole, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound, junior from Louisville (Central HS), finished No. 2 in NCAA Receiving Touchdowns—17 (KWC Season Record); No. 2 in NCAA Receiving Yards per game—134.5; No. 4 in NCAA Receiving Yards—1,345 (KWC Season Record); No. 8 in NCAA All-Purpose Yards per game—170.5; No. 8 in NCAA Scoring—11.4 points per game; and No. 11 in NCAA Receptions per game—7.3.

He also led the Panthers in scoring—114 points and touchdowns—19 (KWC Season Record) in starting all 11 games. Cole also scored a KWC single-game record five touchdowns vs. Louisiana College on Oct. 24.

Billberry, a 6-foot, 208-pound junior linebacker from Terra Haute, Ind. (North Vigo HS), finished third overall on the Panthers' defense with 37.5 tackles on the year. He collected 26 solo tackles and notched  23 assisted tackles. Billberry also produced 8.5 tackles for loss for a total of 24 yards. He also registered 1.5 sacks for a total of 10 yards, along with one interception and one touchdown.

McHatton, a 6-foot-1, 256-pound junior defenive tackle from Calhoun, Ky. (McLean County HS), played in ten games during the season, and started in six. He totaled 21.0 tackles on the season, including 14 solo tackles and 14 assisted tackles. McHatton also recorded 5.0 tackles for loss for a total of 12 yards. On the defensive line, he collected one sack.

White, a 6-foot-2, 296-pound junior offensive lineman from Chicago (Lake Forest Academy/Butte CC), started on the offensive line all eleven games during the 2015 season.
