2008: Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honoree…captured a 6000 best – 21:34.81 at Southern Indiana’s Mid-America Opener…posted a five mile best – 31:08.50 at Western Kentucky’s Old Timers Classic…recorded a 8000 best – 28:59.30 at the Evansville Invitational.
High School: Graduate of Jasper High School…competed in soccer and baseball…earned Jaspers Most Valuable and Most Versatile Awards plus all-district recognition in leading the soccer team to a regional runner-up finish as a senior…received Academic Honors Diploma.
Personal: Born January 15, 1988…son of Dennis and Carma Thimling…chemistry major.
