    Assistant Coach / Director of Player Development

Trace Young is an assistant men’s basketball coach and Director of Player Development for the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.

He joined the program before the 2025-26 season following one year as an assistant coach at Brescia University and brings experience from both the collegiate and professional levels.

Young played Division I basketball at the University of Wyoming and brings professional experience from the NBA and G League. A graduate of Jackson State University and a native of Owensboro, Kentucky, he is recognized for his commitment to player development, recruiting, and the holistic growth of student-athletes on and off the court.
